Why do I have two recertification cycles?

There may be instances in which you are able to "get ahead" and work on specific tasks for a subsequent recertification cycle.

When you are viewing a specific state license, you may see a "Get ahead" card. This gives you the ability to see other tasks you are able to work on for your next recertification cycle. Once you answer questions related to your next recertification cycle and click "Save & Continue", you will be able to see your next recertification cycle. For this reason, you will be able to see both recertification cycles at once on your dashboard. You will be able to work on specific tasks for your subsequent cycle, while you are still working on completing your current active cycle.

Example: If you have a current renewal for 2022, and your next renewal will be in 2023, you may have specific one-time tasks or tasks that are not on the same cadence as license renewal that you are able to still work on for the 2023 recertification cycle. Hence, you may see 2 recertification cycles on your dashboard to allow you to do so.
