What type of CME documents should I upload to my Mocingbird File Cabinet?

Please follow the below guidelines to make an informed decision on what CME documents you should upload to your Mocingbird platform.

As of February 2025, we are making some changes to the CE that we will accept. Anything uploaded prior to this date that has already been categorized will not be effected.

Uploads that will NOT be accepted:

  • Self-Reported/Self-Created Transcripts
  • Transcripts from 3rd party sites
    • This includes but is not limited to:
      • Transcripts from CE Broker
      • Transcripts from CME Gateway

Why?

Mocingbird will no longer accept these transcripts because in the event of an audit, these will not be accepted by the state medical boards. They will require the certificates or transcripts directly from the source. Please go to the sites in which you took the courses and download the certificates and transcripts from them directly to upload into your Mocingbird account.

Some other content providers to be cautious of:

Presbyterian St. Luke's Medical Center & HCA HealthONE

- If you are able to, please upload only HCA HealthONE transcripts. This is because both of these transcripts provide duplicates of the same courses and due to the naming conventions on each, make it difficult to identify duplicates. If you only have the transcripts from Presbyterian St. Luke's Medical Center, we will accept those for your account but please only upload those transcripts and not the HCA HealthONE transcripts. This is only to be extra cautious and keep you compliant.

Please note that if we receive a transcript we can not accept, we will send you an email with a copy of the transcript and ask you to please go to the primary source and download a new copy. If you are unable to, we can categorize the data we are given but please note, this may cause duplicated files that may cause you to seem compliant when you are not.
